Buyer’s Remedy of Avoidance under the CISG: Acceptable from a Common

In this
paper, Tobias analyses the provisions in the CISG dealing with the buyer’s
right to avoid the contract, concluding that in fact they represent a
reasonable compromise between civil and common law backgrounds and generally
do justice to the requirements of international trade.
