The Fifth Moot and Plans for the Sixth

Eric E Bergsten*

The author reports on the Fifth Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot 1997-98, particularly the oral arguments that were held in Vienna from 4 to 9 April 1998. He then describes a recent innovation, the new Moot Website at Pace University, as well as websites on the competition maintained by participating law schools. The report closes with an outlook on the Sixth Arbitral Moot to take place in 1999 and the expected changes that will have to be introduced as the competition continues to grow.
